BUCKETS OF BUTTER

Why the current economic recession is a GOOD thing for America and the world:

One of the first lessons of economics I think I ever learned, and it came from my family, was something along the lines of "Waste not want not." You take food on your plate, you finish it.. otherwise next time, don't take so much. You want to buy something, you pay for it. You borrow money, you pay it back.

US GDP is about $15 trillion annually. We produce 15 trillion dollars with of stuff every year. Damn! Thats alot of stuff. Today's economic slowdown is a good thing. We are gong to spend less, consume less.
